Schwäbische Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH from Waldmössingen receives the “Bosch Global Supplier Award”, making it one of the technology and service company’s best suppliers worldwide.

The international manufacturer of multi-spindle machining centers and manufacturing solutions received the award in the “Indirect Purchasing” category. Of its approximately 43,000 suppliers, Bosch awarded prizes to 47 suppliers from 15 countries. This is the 16th time that the Bosch Group has honored above-average performance in the manufacture and supply of products or services – particularly in terms of quality, costs, innovations, and logistics. This time, the award ceremony took place in Blaichach and was held under the motto “Transforming Together. Staying Ahead.”

About the “Bosch Global Supplier Award

Every two years, Bosch honors the best of its global supplier companies with a “Bosch Global Supplier Award”. The technology and service company presents the award for above-average performance in the manufacture and supply of products or services. For the award, a jury evaluated suppliers in the categories of indirect purchasing, raw materials and components per business unit. In a special category, suppliers could submit products, processes or technologies with high innovation potential for Bosch for the award. Bosch has been honoring the top performance of its supplier companies with this award, which is recognized in industry circles, since 1987.
