BE-1 SW MACHINE OPERATION

SHORT DESCRIPTION

The objective of this course is to operate the SW machine safely and efficiently. The participants will learn how to prepare and start the production process as
well as how to identify and solve basic failures. The course utilizes simple operation tasks. Step-by-step procedures are provided as well.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon the successful completion of this course, the participant will be able to operate the machine safely and correctly according to SW standards by

| Performing standard startup and shutdown procedures,
| Performing a general machine inspection before production start,
| Recognizing basic faults and act upon them,
| Loading and starting the proper working CNC program,
| Performing a program restart in the middle of a program,
| Loading and unloading of tools in the tool magazine.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of CNC machine tools is beneficial but not mandatory
