Robert Bosch GmbH recognizes SW as "Preferred Supplier”

Once again, the international system supplier of multi-spindle machining centers and manufacturing solutions has received an award from Robert Bosch GmbH.

The award of "Preferred Supplier" is given to only one supplier in the respective product category and is based on a survey of various plants within the Bosch Group in the "Global Business Services Purchasing" division. The survey is carried out on an ongoing basis using defined criteria. Particular attention is paid to the areas of technical competence, product quality, delivery reliability, entrepreneurial potential, price-performance ratio and customer orientation.

The Preferred Supplier Award is given to companies with above-averageperformance

Andreas Schmid, Corporate Lead Buyer at Bosch GmbH, and Muhammet Aydinli, Senior Manager of Global Business Services Purchasing, presented the certificate to SW. They explained that with the confirmation of the "Preferred Supplier Status", Bosch expresses its appreciation towards the special performance of the suppliers and at the same time, wants to motivate them to maintain the level of performance in case of increasing requirements. As a matter of principle, Bosch concentrates its supplier activities on partners who it considers to have above-average competence and performance. The supplier companies are also development and innovation partners who contribute to the company's competitiveness. Partners who excel in close cooperation can participate in the company's strategies and development projects at an early stage and thus align themselves for the future. In addition to "Preferred Supplier" status, SW has also received Bosch's "Global Supplier Award" several times in the past.

SW is proud to be recognized again as a preferred supplier

"We are proud and delighted to have received another very important award from Robert Bosch GmbH in the form of the "Preferred Supplier" distinction. This award emphasizes our very good cooperation since more than 25 years with the Bosch Group at its worldwide locations", says Jörg Schmauder, Managing Director Sales and Marketing at Schwäbische Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH. Michael Renn, Key Account Manager for Bosch, is also pleased about the award: "We are very honored to be recognized once again as a preferred supplier in the global context of Bosch. We see this award as confirmation of our high quality and reliability. We at SW will continue to do our utmost to meet the high requirements of Bosch's "Preferred Supplier" and look forward to many more years of trustful cooperation."
