SW Automation GmbH with headquarters in Tettnang Germany, a subsidiary of Schwäbische Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH (SW) in Waldmössingen, has exhibited its latest innovative solutions in intelligent automation and robotics in recent weeks at the leading international trade fair for automation and robotics.
According to organizers, over 46,000 visitors walked through the halls of the Munich trade fair on the 4 days of the trade fair.
The focus of the trade fair exhibit was on SW competence in system automation. Material provision was demonstrated with a driverless transport system, and the machining center was then loaded and unloaded using a 7-axis robot. The individual production sequences as well as material flow can be analyzed, visualized and optimized on the basis of a detailed computer simulation. In this way SW is able to develop the optimum, individual complete solution for each customer.
Sven Makis, Managing Director of SW Automation, is very pleased with the number of visitors and with how things went at the trade fair. Name recognition for SW is increasing appreciably in automation and assembly solutions, as indicated by the significantly higher number of visitors from national and international prospective customer at the trade fair stand. Preparations are already in full swing for the next trade fair highlight – AMB in Stuttgart in September. Other trade fair appearances are planned in the coming months in the USA, the Czech Republic and Italy.
