The basic design of the monobloc construction minimizes sagging and ensures an optimal flow of the forces between the processing unit and the workpiece carrier. With this design, we create the prerequisites for improved dynamics and precision in heavy-duty machining. The Y-axis is positioned by a gantry drive system with an absolute distance measurement system.
This ensures optimal accuracy, even with off-center loading. You can also equip the BA 6 with optional independent Z-axes to further increase machining flexibility. Overall, the series increases positional accuracy by 20%.
